The month of May has been a refreshing month here at Means, with much to celebrate. Not only have we had the pleasure of enjoying the joys of spring with the warmer weather, longer days, and beautiful spring flowers. We also have a number of exciting staffing updates. We want to take a moment to share with you some of the news at Means.
Congratulations John & Dave!
This May, two of our Senior Financial Advisors, John Dudley and David Cust, celebrated momentous work anniversaries. John and Dave have been with Means for 20 and 15 years, respectively. We cannot say enough about the two of them.
John truly treats his colleagues and clients like family. From the day he started, he went above and beyond to help everyone. Similarly, Dave inspires all of us. Not only is he thorough and knowledgeable. He is incredibly thoughtful and kind.
We all consider ourselves fortunate to work with both John and Dave each day. Congratulations John and Dave! We look forward to many years to come.
Welcome, Wendy!
We also had the pleasure of welcoming a new team member here in Bangor, Wendy Porter. Wendy is our new Operations Engineer. She works with our Operations team to identify and implement process improvements.
Wendy has a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Maine. She has over 25 years of experience supporting manufacturing operations domestically and internationally. Wendy lives in Holden with her husband, David.
Welcome Back, Susan!
We are pleased to announce that Susan Dietz returned to the Bangor office on May 4, 2021. Many may recall that Susan was diagnosed with breast cancer a little over a year ago. In February 2020, before the pandemic hit, she took time away to focus on her treatment and recovery.
Once she could, Susan returned to work in a remote capacity. Because of the pandemic, Susan worked from her home office for over a year. We are happy to report that she has been given the “all clear” from her doctor. We could not be more thrilled to see her beautiful smile in person each day!
